Hi,
I was hoping for someone to give me an answer:
I have bought the c510 today, and when the battery is only 5 % it just turns off, no message saying warning low battery or something. Has someone else got experience with this, or is it just normal that the A2 platfotm doesn't give this pop up anymore?
Btw, I will do a SW update with seus when the battery wil be charged.

My W595 gives less messages when listening to music smile.gif. It gives one when entering the <5 %, and when it's completely empty

Hi,
I am using SE C510. i encountered the same problem as yours. When the battery is around 8% to 6%, the phone just turns off without message saying warning low battery. May i know how to resolve this problem?

I need a definite answer for my SE C510 regarding no low battery warning. Is a a firmware bug or is it the firmware not properly loaded by the manufacturer when i bought? My firmware version is still R1DA029.
Boysie
Then try the latest generic (R1FA035) firmware.

Then try the latest generic (R1FA035) firmware.

My firmware for C510 which is R1DA029 only have no low battery warning and shutdown when is between 6% to 8%. and do not have any problem or issue. That is why i do not want to flash to the latest frimware. I mentoned very clearly that i just want to know whether is it a bug for my current version or is the firmware not properly loaded by the manufacturer when i bought. I just bought this set for less than 1 month. I really appreciate reply related to my qusetion on SE C510 no low battery warning and not on other model or topics. Anyone using SE C510 encountering the same problem with this firware R1DA029, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
Boysie
What? If you haven't any problem then why is your phone turning off between 5 and 8%? The firmware you are on may have this bug. Update to latest and see if it corrects it.

Am i correct to say that you have encountered this problem which do not show low battery warning with this model?
Boysie
No. I do not have this problem.

No. I do not have this problem.

Are you using SE C510? If you are using SE C510, may i know the firmware version? If you are not using SE C510, please indicate that you are not using this model. I need someone who is using SE C510 and the firmware version R1DA029 or older version to highlight to me whether do they encounter no low battery warning and shutdown when battery level is between 6% to 8% without any warning. This way than only i can know whether is it a bug or firmware not properly flash by the manufacturer.
Boysie
I am not using c510. If the fw was not properly flashed the phone wouldn't work at all. Why on earth don't you just flash the latest fw and see if it cures the problem? blink.gif

And supposing that you do find out whether its a bug or firmware problem, are you going to release some firmware with it fixed? Highly unlikely.

The chances are is that someone along the line has reported this "bug" to SE and thats why SE keeps updating the firmware, to iron out any bugs (like this one) in their newer firmware.

I suggest you try using SEUS or flash it to generic firmware and then use SEUS to see if it has been fixed

May i know whether are you using SE C510? Did you encounter this problem before realated to this model?
Boysie
No he isn't. He's sensible enough to know its probably a bug and YOU SHOULD UPDATE YOUR FW!!!!!!!!!!!

Since you are not using this model, you need not answer to my question. Flashing may resolve one issue but introduce another unforseen issue. Don't just a bit say flash. Is not as simple as you think.

You want an expert answer? Wait along my friend, C510 is not a popular phone with the regulars on this forum.

As Boysie has pointed out, no I dont. Regardless, whether I use the phone or not: you are being offered some advice. I suggest you take it.

And take a few chill pills whilst youre at it.

Hi Soulaiman,

Is your problem solved after the update?

People are trying to help, you should accept that there are several possible solutions, all of which are equally valid as suggestions. You can of course disagree but inappropriate remarks towards those trying to help will not get anyone to solve your problem.

Dear MikLSP,
From outsider perspective, i don't see anything wrong with tansoonteck replied to those giving suggestions. I think we should point at the C510 problem and not at person. I have an advice to anybody who try to make comment on others that "don't be a pot calling a kettle black". For tansoonteck, my advice is "every cloud has a silver lining" and so don't be disappointed. If those of my friends holding C510 having this type of issue, i will let you know.

There is nothing wrong in giving replies to those giving suggestions. What was wrong was the content. If you care to read Mik's post you will notice the thread has been cleaned, therefore you haven't read them.

Dear Boysie, why don't you let the matter rest and focus on other topics rather than this topics if you think you are not happy with somebody remarks. I hope this forum is solely for issue related to SE mobile phones and not to pin point each other. I believed the current topics is on SE C510. I believed those suggestions that work on other models may not be the solution for this model. Giving a suggestion is no harm but also must depend on the topics. I hope this will clarify everything and end those unnecesary remarks.
Corman
The problem is, suggestions that work on other phones, highly probably will work too on C510 wink.gif
MikLSP
@ ronli1338

thanks for your concerns but as I mentioned, I have cleaned up the topic and hence the inappropriate remarks have been removed, that's probably why nothing appears to be wrong now.

@ all

grow up and get on with the topic in hand or don't post.

Just upgrade your freaking firmware... If you do with Seus nothing can fail (if it does, and it bricks it, then send it to repair).. You only gett a better/faster phone which is more reliable..

And no, I've never encountered this problem (R1EA034)
Brookie353
Im on R1FA035 and mine is fine.
