Hi! I have w810i and my left earphone doesn't work, but to other phone all works fine. I clean the contact if there was some oxide, but nothing. Wat i can do? is this a problem with flash program or technical?

You would probably need to replace the charging block

I don't think that is the problem. i believe it's somewhat broken inside.

This is most likely a hardware problem and it probably lies in the fastport. If cleaning doesn't work then there may be some loose contacts inside the phone down in the lower area (fastport). Or maybe the fastport needs to be replaced.

You can try pushing the cable in diffrent directions, if you get contact in some position your charge block is loose

But all working fine with USB and charging. Then maybe only one contact is broke? But how only one contact can broke?

As Jock Said the cable is the problem i've had the same problem on 6 headsets

yea change the port then, they mean not to put cable in different postion, put the cable IN and then tilt the calble like upwards, or downwards etc and see if the left ear works....

u might spoil the fone if u try urself, give it to SE shops, not going to cost very high

I have a similar problem but if I give it to the shops after they fix it won't they reflash the main or something like that? Then, I would lose all my patches.

i have this kind of problem on my K550i. my charge block is loose. if i want to charge the phone i have to move the charger wire all over the place and is quite annoying.
does anybody know how i can replace the charging block. ive looked in the service manual but theres nothing.

Just take the phone apart (being careful) and slide out the fastport and fit a new one
