As for the phone: I would suggest that the screen has died after is has been in water, so that will need replacing.

Also, have you tried searching google for a guide?

hi,

i have a similar problem. unfortunatly i went thru a rain shower and my c510 got damaged, the key "5" isnt working anylonger. so i suppose that there is just a litlle bit of water on the pressure sensor.. so i want to open it and have a look, coz i lost warranty already anyway.

i googled to find a disassembly guide for the c510 but there is none, so that y i come back to this forum and registred just for this, so i hope someone cna help me and give me some hints how to open my c510

A friend of mine got my c510 into a pint of beer last night so I had to open it to get it clean.

Here it's how i did it

1) Remove battery, memory and sim card.

2) There are 4 visible screws at the back, remove them all

3) Now, there are 2 additional hidden screws where the flash light is. Remove this thin blue(?) layer. You might need a needle. There are two small holes by the edge you can use . It has a bit of glue in it, but dont mind it.

4) That's it. You can remove the back cover as well as the front cover.

Note: For the front cover you can start from the memory slot as it is easier to get a thin slotted screwdriver (flat or straight) and start pushing a little bit. That part is assembled, so do it carefully as some 'notches' might get cracked.

Hope it helps. My phone is back up and running again.
