Hey guys,

I recently brought a c902 and I have a few questions, please and thank you : )

- How do I check if my c902 can use flash themes? I brought it at a store where the guy said it was debranded and unlocked yet there are still the operator logos, wallpapers, internet button etc. It was new. Is there a way to check somehow, through a program or perhaps in the hidden menu if its locked or not? Also I heard that usually flashmenu enabled mobiles usually have at least one preloaded flash theme, yet i dont have any blink.gif

1. How do I install flash themes? Is this guide correct: http://www.se-stuff.net/help/flash-menu.html
Im scared that i might damage my phone or something along those lines. Just making sure ^^

2. Does installing flashlite themes void warranty? If so, why do they enable the phones to use flash themes yet not allow us to put any of our own ones onto it? Also,I heard that you can use SEUS to reupdate the phone, thus making it impossible for a SE service centre to tell that you have modded the phone, is this true?

3. If I decide to delete the flash theme from my phone, does that mean I need to erase it using A2uploader too?

4. My normal themes that I install myself and that are preloaded aren't animated. As in when i hover over them, they just enlarge unlike other SE phones which have a short animation. Does this mean or show anything about my phone?

5. My application/game volumes are very low. Much lower than in my previous w810i and k750i. Is there a way to make this louder, maybe through options in the settings? I cant find any glare.gif

Sorry if the questions are 'newbie'.
Thanks again smile.gif

1)http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=35962, look at post 2 laugh.gif

2)It may, so better use SEUS before sending it to Repair Center.

3)You can choose not to, but it's a waste of phone memory

4)I don't get you

5) You can change the acoustic, but it won't make very much difference.

Could you please confirm if the link I supplied is usable?
This is because I find A2uploader much eachier to use than XS++ from what I have read.

Thanks

Drakkkus333
You will have to use A2uploader otherwise too..... xs++ doesn't support c902.....
So, yeah, you can use the information given in the link.......
Edwarrior317
Is it possible to add more than 1 flash theme per go using A2uploader?
Because with the video link + the guide, only one is put in at a time, before turning it off.

Whats the chance of ruining my phone, aka WSOD, bricking etc.

Also, does the download link for a2 uploader + XML etc on the page still work? I cant seem to find the download link.

Thanks smile.gif

Of course that's possible, just drag & drop as many as you want smile.gif

Hey thanks smile.gif

But I have another porblem. FOr the past hour or so, Ive been trying to install my drivers for my c902, aka removing and replacing battery then holding 'c' whilst sticking the USB in.

I cant seem to ifnd the driver :/

Ive inserted the CD but it sitll cannot locate.

Is it because I updated my phone using SEUS and the drivers are now different or something?

Thanks
Corman
Are you using XP SP3?
Edwarrior317
Yes, But i also tried on Vista

+ Everytime it fails to install, it automatically goes into mass storage, is this normal?

Thanks
Boysie
Its normal if the drivers aren't installed. You could use the ggsetup thats with A2uploader i think. smile.gif
Edwarrior317
hey um how long am i meant to hold down the c button?

Just until the popup appears?

^^
Boysie
Until the installation has finished. smile.gif
Edwarrior317
Ah right thanks.

I dont know what im doing wrong, doesnt seem to work.

Tried on XP + Vista, does it have anything to do with updating phone using SEUS and the drivers on the CD being out of date? glare.gif

Thanks.

Read through the guide I have in my signature: it might help

My Vista installs the drivers automatically confused.gif. Didn't even have to install Gordon's Gate drivers.

Each computer is different: some need a whack to get working properly lol.gif

Thanks guys, I cant get it too work =|

Not even on Windows XP SP3

Heres what happens:
I hold down C and insert my USB into the computer.
When the popup comes up syaing new hardware detected, I click yes to install drivers, and it tells me to insert the CD that came with my phone.
So i do that, and it says it cannot be found, even with the CD in the computer. It then says Failed, and mass storage is opened on my computer.

Sorry, but any ideas? sad.gif

Oh and whats the point of taking out the battery every single time?

Thanks =]
