i have a att w580i phone that i bought from ebay.i wont to use my mp3 songs as ringtones but it wont let me. is there anyway i cant maybe flash it and take all the att stuff out of it or is there another way to put them on my phone. oh yea i would also like to put different mods and themes. thanks

Flash it with generic FW using JDFlasher since your phone is CID53

u may need to flash ur F.S and upload CDA also so that all the at&t stuffs are gone

Try www.seusers.com for firmware. Generic is non branded, ie no operator rubbish.

One that matches the region of your FS. For example, If you flash EUROPE_2 *.fbn, then use EUROPE_2 custom files.

still not sure on what files i need and how to use the jdflasher and all the Tutorials i found they only show for cid52 can someone help me please

the main, it cud be generic if u want and any FIRMWARE
the F.S and CDA = 1st look for F.S havinf same FIRMWARE as that of MAIN with REGION also specified in them, now in CUST PACK or CDA, look for same region as in F.S

example:

MAIN = W580_R8BE001_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED53

F.S = W580_R8BE001_FS_APAC_RED53

CDA = HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_101_R8A_GENERIC_APAC

now that both F.S and CDA are APAC, u can go ahead and download, APAC is for asian pacific, download the one suitable for you
