Boysie99 remember i told u that my phone restarts when i used book manager. it happened to me today also. i had logo changer running and i started screenshooter too. then after i took one screenshot, it restarted.
now i guess the problem wasn't book manager.
either there is problem when i run more than elf at the same time or the problem is in logo changer.
currently i am not using any elfs and waiting for ur pack.

yeah i think logochanger has a problem. but i get restarts only when i run another elf along with logo changer. when i am running logo changer only, there are no restarts. what about u?
I get restarts regardless what order I turn that elf on at the mo, hence why Im just thinking to reflash it, then start again from fresh (not doing that though until I have a spare phone)

Not yet: I actually lost all my patches that I applied to that phone, so updating it is going to be one be mismatch

I'm glad everything went ok. 
I will post the png later this afternoon. With regard to the links, I suggest looking at the elfves section at mobilefree.ru which is where most of them start their life. The ones I included are pretty straight forward to use anyway, just have a play!!
Anymore probs just let me know.
EDIT: You might also want to use this for easy access to internal FS and Zbin folders ( I should have included it in elfpack really)...

well i got some questions. what is this heap? and do elfs drain battery of a phone faster?
Heap or RAM is the available left to run things and yes the more elves you run the quicker your battery will drain and the slower the phone runs. This is due to the extra work the ARM processor is doing.

Ive just thought, the elfpack uses a certain image in the main (pig I believe) to use for the elf extension. You're going to have to edit the other patch that uses the same image so you can have an icon for *.elf

well i am playing with the elfs alrite. but putting images at the location i want in standby mode is frustrating.

A little tip to make it easier to position stuff with Standbymode: Take a screenshot of your standby screen with Screenshooter and rename the image as "sbimage.png" an place in ini folder, then when you need to position things the image will be shown in the background!
SAMM elf is good but I get occasional reboots. You will also need 2 patches for it to work correctly; Additional_shortcuts.vkp and Softkey_hook.vkp.
AdvancedSoftkeys elf is also good but again a patch is needed; Advanced_Softkeys_Handler.vkp.
Coverart in Standby elf is also good if you listen to music alot.
Sleepmode elf for displaying info on sleepmode screen is good also. There are various versions of this.
Eventcontrol elf, for activating various functions like changing profiles/shutdown etc to change at different times of the day.
This afternoon I will load up some more elfs and the patches for the above if you need.

i got a reboot when i tried to stop analog clock thru book manager. other than that i haven't faced any problems.
i just installed se-deskbar which looks good but i think it consumes battery faster.
and one thing, for slideshow in standby mode can i put jpg files in slideshow folder?
i have downloaded ur elf collection from esato.com. so i think u have included the above mentioned elfs and respective patches there.

Are you talking about the screenshots from screenshooter to use as 'sbimage'? If so then just rename the extension to png. You can do it on phone if you have rename with extension patch.

yes i did those things.
i created a folder ini in phone and created GFX.ini there.
i inserted the path mentioned in the patch in ini.
i created a folder IMG in phone>others and put my icons there.

yes they do. i am trying to replace icons for filemanager. i checked the names with imagetool.

Use markross's Rawpatcher to patch a main raw file with the gfx patch, then load into ImgTool and save the images.

this advanced softkey elf, what does it do exactly? i used it and i get three options in the lower bar. i can change their positions, sizes. is that all to it?
