Hey guys, i am having some trouble flashing my W550i i recently purchased it off ebay it has the white screen problem well i flashed it and now its working and turning on, there is not white screen problem but i am getting an message ''Please wait'' and it has the the bar below loading but it only loads like 1/4 and the rest doesnt load and it never does!!

I flashed with using XS++ 2.2, these are the files i flashed:

MAIN: W550_R4CB020_MAIN_GENERIC_EL_RED49
FS: W550_R4CB020_FS_EUROPE_2_RED49
CustPack: W550_CDA102426_10_R2A_Generic_EUROPE_2

Reflash it using XS++ 3.1 (its better than 2.2), then report back

i did what u said i reflashed it with XS++ 3.1 i flashed the Main + FS both and custpack

but still im getting the same problem stuck on the ''Please wait'' screen ive heard its a IMEI mismatch but its not my IMEI is the same also i have heard about restoring the GDFS i didnt back that up before i flashed it

Did that after flashing Main & FS now i updated the phone with sony ericsson update service it updated the phone with the orginal SE files it updated it successfully but again when i on the phone same problem stuck on ''Please wait'' screen

Looks like i GDFS problem and as you have no backup, service centre is the next step.

XS++ v2.2 only works for w550..

try in XS++ 2.2 or SETool

Who says? XS++3.1 supports all DB2020 <CID52 and all DB2010.

How long did you wait?

The gdfs is messed up, i had a k750 with the same problem to repair it you need as service cable & SEMC or setool2.
