I don't know why it's like this, but it's been like it since I patch unlocked the phone and added a few patches with it.

I've been thinking it's the battery because everytime the phone gets a bang, it turns off too. It's not only then though, it happens randomly! I could be listening to music or in a phone call, and BAM! it switches off :/

Do you guys think it's a battery issue or a hardware issue? Would reflashing the phone work?

When it turns off, does it turn back on automatically or do you have to turn it on manually?

I gotta turn it back on manually. If it turned back on itself I wouldn't mind, but I sometimes miss important calls:/

Then that suggests the battery is loose or has dodgy contacts. Can you try another battery?

Yeah, it must be the battery then. Try another one.
(If it had rebooted itself then that's a firmware problem. )

Try a different battery, if your phone is fine with another battery then its the battery.
If a different battery still doesn't solve your problem, then you know it's the connectors.
