Hey also have a problem with wifi, always it want to connect with mobile internet, if i don't have any internet account i can't surf the internet, it is connected with my pc's wifi and saved in favourites with auto conection, but it always say "connecting with mobile internet". Tried using different networks(with and without pass) but it never worked. When i bought the phone it was R8BB033, and wifi worked well when th phone was new. When i upgraded it with SEUS to R1FA035 it never worked anymore. Think i have to downgrade the phone?

Thanks for answers

Well, i don't remember exactly the firmware, but i was trying to say it was one of the first firmwares for w705, and i want to get the wifi working without downgrading the phone, do you know how to do it?
Corman
It should work on the newest FW, have you tried reinstalling the FW?

You have to dowload the specific drivers for your pc or use the application in the CD that comes with the phone, install it and then connect your phone via usb in "phone mode"
That was in my w910, think it could be exactly the same in w705... try this, and if it doesn't work, i'll try to connect mine's and give you a mini-tutorial

are you using WPA2? A2 phones seem to have problems at times with it.. try using WPA.

still wont work. my PC suite is doing the other way its using my phone as a modem.
