help me to fix it i will give him 10$ in PAYPAL, im not a scammer its just very very very important to me!

hi i really need your help guys
I'm newb and i think i ruined my friend's phone (k610i) when i tried unlocking it

i tried unlocking K610i with SETOOL2Lite v1.11 and Remove SIM-Lock patch generator v2.2 i don't remember exactly what firmware i used but it was CID52 for k610 and c asia (i need heb) that i downloaded from: http://topse.ru/firmwares/M/ and i think it was R1KG001; C52

anyway i made vkp file with the Remove SIM-Lock patch generator v2.2 (using main and fs firmware files) like the guide said.
i did all you need with setool2l and pressed flash connected the phone while pressing C and it started working then i got to:
REMOVE CABLE FROM PHONE
REMOVE BATTERY FROM PHONE, THEN INSERT IT BACK
THEN PRESS "READY"

HOLD "C" BUTTON AND ATTACH PHONE

i didn't quite understand it, should i remove the cable then remove the battery and then connect the cable or connect the battery and then the cable? anyway i tried both with pressing C it didn't work so i just connected the phone with the battery without pressing C and it did that:

CID52 BYPASS PROCEDURE FINISHED

another thing: when i connect it, its not recognized by anything, the gg... driver and the normal driver

its not my phone and i need to get it back to someone in to more days and i don't want to buy him a new one so what should i do, PLEASE HELP ME! I'M BEGGING
cchaos
I would try downloading from se-users or iprotebe.cz

Flash it with XS++: setool2lite is not exactly noob friendly for flashing.

Before you can unlock it: you need to patch the phone with a quick access patch, then using the patch you need to patch in the unlocking patch that the simon program created

Urm. It's really important that you generate the Sim-Lock Patch with exactly the same firmware that is on the phone that you are planning to patch. Otherwise it'll definetely do something unwanted to the phone. Most probably a funeral.
Look around on TopSony they should have the firmware your looking for. smile.gif

Okay. Firstly, YES if you don't patch with the same firmware the phone is dead. You can fix it by downloading the original firmware for that particular phone. Connect it to SE Tool or whatever you are using and the firmware should automatically come up. Now go to, Top Sony Downloads and click on Firmwares. Look for your phone and the MAIN firmware. Not the FS. Flash the MAIN firmware that is on the phone again. This will remove all patches and start you off fresh. You can do this with SETool or XS++ or JDFlasher.
But before you actually connect your phone, the reason it asks for drivers is because you haven't installed any drivers before working with a phone! Here's a tutorial on how to do that. Akshayy's Tutorial.

Then generate the patch you want (in this case Sim-Lock) with the exact firmware that is on the phone. The one you flashed with earlier. Patch the phone carefully using this. Another of Akshayy's Tutorials ^^.

There you go. happy.gif

You've made a small mistake, can't belive no1 spotted it lol.gif ,
You've flashed a fs instead of a main

K610_R1JG001_FS_C_ASIA_RED52.fbn
fbn is a filesystem firmware you want a main instead so a .mbn , R6BC002 seems to be the lastest cid:52 firmware, register at www.seusers.com , under downloads go to K610 then R6BC002 then get K610_R6BC002_MAIN_GENERIC_TH_RED52 ,
unrar it remake the unlock patch , then redo the unlock/bypass using the .mbn firmware instead.

laugh.gif I didn't see that. Yeah.
