Hi,

I have flashed new main and FS. I used W880_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_AI_RED53.mbn.

I am trying to make the rest file using Akshays tutorial but I get no rest file. I can drag and drop the main on mkrest2.exe but nothing happens.

Please can someone point me in the right direction. Am I using the wrong main, if I am can someone point me in the right direction ?

Ok, had a play with the rest2.exe and managed to make the rest file using the command line.

However I applied the rest file then the quick access patch and finally an unlock patch but after that my phone would not turn on.

I have reflashed the main and FS to get the phone running but would like to unlock it. It is a w880i (red cid 53).

Trouble appears to be after I apply rest and the qa vkp I created using the qamaker. After this the phone does not want to turn on.

Flash the main instead of a rest file? Then flash QA patch

Worked a treat. Flashed the main then the qa patch then the unlock patch.

I alredy flashed my w880. I used W880_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_AI_RED53.mbn. but my phone stiil locked, and working just in ORANGE network.

You can't unlock by just flashing, you need to patch it. I suggest you read this thread again.
