Hi, sorry for posting such a newbie question, but i was wandering,

What is the c902's most latest firmware, and what new features does it contain in comparison to the older versons? My current firmware is R3DA028. Should i update if there is a new version?

Also, if i download SEUS and update my phones firmware through the cable provided, will my files and setting be deleted and restored back so it is like brand new? Does this void warranty?

Some other minor questions:

Is it possible to use the front camera as a video recorder or as an actual camera?

What is the maximum sms storage capacity?

Thanks Alot smile.gif

It does not void your warranty as it's SE's own product.

I'm not sure about this, but SEUS can help you check. they'll tell you if your phone is up-to-date

Things in your phone memory will be wiped away except those that are originally in there

Hey, um Devilwasabi, could you help me with a few more questions?

- Is it possible to use the front camera as a video recorder or as an actual camera?

- What is the maximum sms storage capacity?

- How do i disconnect my phone from the computer when i use phone mode, because there is no removable disk. DO i just unplug it, even though it is charging?

- And also, i downloaded SE PC Suite, because i heard it was possible to use the computers internet connection through the mobile. In other words, is it possible for me to use the computer internet on my phone?
Ive installed PC Suite, and its connected to my c902 through 'phone mode'. I then selected the internet connection tab on the left hand side. it states:

"you are online
(USB ethernet mode)
Very good reception"

The problem is, i cant actually use the internet because when i try go onto a website through my mobile, it doesnt load, but rather says connection failed. Am i doing something wrong? And could you please clarify if it is actually possible to use my computer internet on my phone.

Thanks a heap

It is possible to use it on your phone smile.gif. Make sure you have the local connections enabled plus you have set 'via computer' somewhere in a menu (forgot where exactly, but it's in the last tab)

My W595 now holds 8694 texts messages, and it's still counting smile.gif. I think there's not really a limit, just the phone memory

- Is it possible to use the front camera as a video recorder or as an actual camera? - Sadly, No sad.gif

- What is the maximum sms storage capacity? - I'm not quite sure, should be 8GB, my bro uses 4GB on his C902 and it's working without a problem wink.gif

- How do i disconnect my phone from the computer when i use phone mode, because there is no removable disk. DO i just unplug it, even though it is charging? Yes. Same goes for Media transfer mode, DON'T do so for Mass storage mode.

-I never used PC suite before, but Yes, you can use internet with your phone using PC Suite, for more info - http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=22088
