Hey, I asked about flashing the phone in my first post on here and i got very helpful information.

Recently, my phone has displayed 'inactive usim' - its a w910i.

And i put my sim into my old k750i and it worked, so i figured my phone has been barred for some reason or other.. who done it i dont know, maybe someone who previously used to own this phone has reported it stolen? Im not entirely sure.

But my question is, would flashing the phone with new firmware on it remove the bar off the phone or not?

If anyone could help or has any other input on this, then it would be great.

Thanks in advance and all that malarky lol.

Danny.

I'm sorry to say it won't. Your IMEI has been blocked. Ring up your network provider and ask them to deblock your phone?
Ly
It won't get unblocked, no matter what the reason is, as far as I'm aware. Bin it.

how many times did you try the sim in your w910i? i get inactive sim on my w200i all the time, i just remove sim, stick it back in and turn on and it usually works. sometimes i need to blow dust off sim card/sim card slot, but other than that its fine. i also know that most of my friends with sony ericssons experience inactive sims alot too. try it again and see if it works. if not ignore what i said.

Where > = right and < = left
Click on service info then SIM Lock, tell me the status of the locks.
