Hi so i just brought a new w595 a few days ago, after reading the tutorials i decided to fiddle with it.I changed the menu of my w595 using a2 uploader. I downloaded the menu icons size 240 x 320 and put them in tpa / preset / system / menu /, but when i turned the phone on it said "errors occur in the menu.ml file this may render the menu unusable". I thought i had used the wrong size, so i used 176 x 220, but the error still occurs, .I dont know what to do , the menu is usable now but i dont know till when.What did i do wrong ?, and can someone plz give me the original menu.ml file for w595, i was unable to make a backup using a2 uploader.

As this is my first time with a SE i dont know anything, i wanted to change the menu and the battery icon.

Also what is a GDFS AREA and how do i back it up.

Well, the phones says that, because it's a error in the menu.ml file. Look here and download.

I think it is wiser to add flash menus instead of modifying the menu.ml file. But, be careful, you need to find those menus who are compatible with your phone.

hey thanks!, i did add flash menus, much less hassle, i downloaded a few from here but they didn't seem to work, i mean i could see them but when i selected something it wouldn't open, weird huh .Any way i got some here http://www.myforum.lasyk.net/showpost.php?...p;postcount=109 and they work fine.
