I just purchased K810i (T-Mobile) and want some info regarding flashing and patching.
I have some queries regarding this
I have tried to check the firmware version on my phone by typing the <* combination and got as under

Please let me know few question:
1. How can I backup my orignal FW
2. Which latest firmware version is recommended and with which customization, MOD Pack etc
3. Which software do I need to use for this purpose
4. What would happen if some thing go wrong Imean cud I revert back to my orignal if something happens
5. Do I need to upgrade my FW from SEUS. Icud not find FW upgrade within my menus
6. Can I change my menus to flash menus
7. Which cable do I need to flash

Any additional info will be helpfull

Hi,

1. You can backup FW, but easier just to download it.
2. Latest FW for K810 is R8BF003.
3. Depending on your CID version. Use XS++ v3.1 or SETool2lite v1.11 for CID52 and lower or FAR Manager + JDFlasher plugin for CID53.
4. If anything went wrong (which it shouldn't) you could flash back to original FW but not much point in that as your currant FW is very dated.
5. Using SEUS is an option and if your phone is CID52 it will upgrade it to CID53.
6. No.
7. Standard DCU-60 which comes with phone will do.

Any Flashing or FS operations require USB Flash drivers installed on PC.

IMPORTANT!
BEFORE DOING ANYTHING TO YOUR PHONE BACKUP THE GDFS AREA FIRST!!! (AFAIK - If your phone is CID53, GDFS backup is only possible with XS++ 4.1 on linux but not sure on this point!)

You have a RED CID52. Do not use SEUS for updating! Otherwise, you will loose the fun of modding!

Well I cant find R8BF003 Red52 asia levan main and FS
Could anybody share where can I find

That is because R8BF003 is for CID53 only!

Well now I have updated the firmware with the files
K810_R8BA024_FS_S_ASIA_LEVAN_RED52.fbn
K810_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_SM_RED52.mbn
but when I connect the phone using XS++ it still shows Firmware R1KG001
below is the output of XS++ log. Did I done some thing wrong?
