Modify the look of your Media Player (K750i & D750i)


What you need:

Far Manager

Darkmen’s Flash Plugin

DCU-60 Cable or service cable

A MediaPlayer skin or a graphic editing program of your choice to create your own skin

Getting started:

You need to know how to access the phone file system with Far manager and Darkmen’s plugin

Modify the look of the MediaPlayer:

Now we need to create our own images to “re-skin” the player
We have to create the following files (for K750i):

background.gif – size 176x57px
list_background.gif – size 176x96px
low_back.gif – size 176x24px

And we can additionally create the following (icons):

play.gif
stop.gif
pause.gif
fastforward.gif
rewind.gif
mode_loop.gif
mode_repeat.gif
mode_random.gif

(sizes about 20x15px)



Enable the modified player on your phone:

Copy all files you just created into the FS\TPA\SYSTEM\MULTIMEDIA\MP directory on your phone using
Far Manager and the Darkmen’s flash plugin

Switch to the root directory to stop the plugin before you disconnect it

Wait some seconds and restart your phone

Enjoy the result

using the same step, can i mood my W800?

i´ve tried it, but the main menu don´t change the background.

there´s any way to "fix" it?

any premade skins available for w810, like black? if not can i request black w810 walkman and media player

is it possible to do that in a w800?

How about K610i?

I think you can do crossflashing to w660, and you can get walkman 2.0.
Walkman 2.0 allows you to change the skins.
