Hello everybody!

I got a brand-new w910i a few days ago and now i want to customize it.
First place to look for useful information and aid? se-nse of course
I haven't been to this place for 'bout half a year, since flashing my good old w700i and modding it to the limit

When I logged onto my account after dedusting it and started to browse through the forum to catch up, I found some posts describing how complicate A2 incl. DB3150 is when it comes to modding. But there's been some progress since then.

So, HOW can i access my phone?

* CID52 RED,
* DB3150,
* A200,
* Firmware R1FA030,
* locked to my service provider,
* branded)

Back then with my w700i I could flick through the fs and apply vkps with JDflasher and xs++ 3.1
but isn't jdflasher just for CID 36/49 ?
xs++ 3.1 recognizes the phone, but says it isn supported (i expected that since the 3.1 is a bit older than the w910 )

so how do i flash, how do i view the fs, how do i customize it, and is there an option to PERMANENTLY patch the phone with VKPs?

No thats for db2010 (CID36 rumoured to be unable to patch under JD flasher, hence use SEFP), db2020 (all CIDs: 49,51,52,53) and PNX (CID53)

A2 uploader for everything, except PERMANENTLY patching. The only method of patching is the java patching method

thank you very much, i'll try a2 and mod some accoustics and the splash screen for a start.

it's sad to hear that it isn't possible to permanently patch the w910 or any other a200. as far as i know the java-applied patches dissappear when the phone is restarted. But I hope the geniuses from the research and development forum will provide us with some tools soon.
