i want to flash my stock K810 but i am still unsure of some things.
I hope someone could answer all my questions so that i wont do the wrong things and
brick my K810i.. I just want to change the icons of my fone but i see its quite a long process
in doin so.. These steps are what i have prepared so far after reading many many guides but they
look really scary to read(too much details)..

1. USBFLASH DRIVER installation (5kb file downloaded from somewhere forgot)
a. Connect USB cable to Computer.
b. Off my k810. Pressed C and Connected it to the USB cable.
c. New hardware found. And i installed it
d. unplug my fone and remove/insert back battery

The Setup file contains this version of it.. Hope i installed the righ


2. Open XS++ v3.2
a. Clicked CONNECT. Turned off fone, hold C button and connected the USB cable to it.
b. The log message is in the code.
c. Did a backup of my GDFS just in case.
d. The log message is in the code.



From here i am a bit scared in progressing.

There is one tutorial which states to flash the
MAIN firmware and then the Filesystem 1 at a time
But there is another which states to both of it
adding the .mbn and .fbn files and mark Customize Filesystem
and select my fone but there is no K810 in the list and the region too
has to be the same type as the filesystem

[Question] Do i flash Main first.. Disconnect/reinsert fone then Flash filesystem .. Disconnect/reinsert fone and and customize ? or Check(Tick) all the boxes do all at 1 go ? And how long will it take ?

[Question] Which firmware should i be using in flashing ? same as current or can i use anyone frm here ( http://www.seusers.com/forum/local_links.php?catid=308 )

[Question] i also read somewhere that for changing the icon, it will take a lot of time.. why is that ? 6hrs is too long for me as in my region there is a problem with electricity and getting continuous electricity is impossible.. i dont wan to be in the middle of the process when the lights go out..

My w900 takes about 15 mins to flash.

you can flash Main and FS together you don't need to restart XS

Make sure you take your sim out when you flash, if you don't it will break the sim.

Flash both MAIN & FS at the same time, MBN is MAIN FBS is FS. Aren't the K810 custpacks there? If not use the K800 one.
Nothing has to be the same as the old one, and don't use XS++ 3.2, use 3.1 because XS++ 3.2 is still in Dev and could brick your phone quite easily.
As for changing the icons, if you use sysgfx it takes seconds, even GFX replacement patches are instantly activated after patching.

To Wiza: Well if i flash a K800 custopack then wont i lose some of the features frm the k810 and then what firmware am i suppose to download for the MBN is MAIN FBS is FS ? the same as mine or newer? i think it is best if u could give me a direct link to the right firmware frm lookin at my XS3.2 logs..

ALSO should i rebackup my GDFS again using XS3.1 cause i did previously on 3.2 ..


So heres what i am gonna do after i get the right firmware.

Flash the " MBN is MAIN FBS is FS " both together .. and then do i have to unplug/replug(do the press C thing) fone again to do the custopack ...?


LASTLY.. does sysgfx program support icon changing via the .ml extension ? i saw some mod packs which have a lot of .png file in it and 1 .ml file.. and i wanna use that..

So i will have to FLASH the Main and Fs at the same time right ? After completing that, i continue
to FLASHING the custpack (customization file) right ? of course i will have to do the disconnect/reconnect press c thing
in between

To install the Custpack i will have to create a cust_pack folder inside the XS++3.1 folder right ? and extract it there.. ?

And up till this process, its gonna take me less than half an hour right ? cause i cant wait for long process..
Once finished i presume i will have a new unbranded/unlocked/higher version of my fone rite ? Once again CID52

My main goal in flashing my fone was so that i could change the menu icons.. So after flashing i can continue to changing the menu icons ?

Anyone can guide me on the SYSGFX usage to change the menu icons ? all other tutorials i see is a bit incomplete..
Cause without this, its gonna take me hours on XS++3.1 as mentioned by some peeps..

Yes your files are fine. I don't do sysgfx so don't ask me. Yes you should be done in about 20-30 minutes at most!

Theres a few ways to change menu icons, use sysgfx, or proper gfx patch or edit the menu.ml and upload the icons to the menu folder in the phone.

NOW To the COOL and sexy part in learning how to use SYSGFX..
one thing i wanna know.. i wanna change the menus icons constantly but do i have to repeat the FLASHING process over again or just the SYSGFX process ? the flashing part is a 1 time deal rite ?
and i found out SYSGFX can only be done by SE tool lite not XS++ .. so i have to get SE tool lite right ..

In the K770i_BlackStyleDot.zip file is a bunch of png images and 1 menu.ml file ...

what do i do wid these ? the fastest/easy way .. pls.. something that will take at MOST 2hours..
preferred program XS++3.1 .. but maybe SE Tool 2Lite 1.11 (heard something about quick access patch)
