Hello,

I have read about 10 stickied posts, and I am stuck at the first step - installing USB drivers. Here is my issue. I use T-mobile, but I bought a Cingular phone. The person who mailed it to me had already unlocked it and I assume installed new firmware. That is fine, it has worked for me for a long time. However, now I would like to add the missed call notification patch.

Here is what I do to install the USB driver

1) download the drivers from Sony's site and from another site (tried both).
2) hold 'C' and turn on phone
3) browse to device manager, see device and update drivers
4) I direct the program to search in the downloaded drivers, the drivers that came with the cable, and with the other drivers I found and NONE of them work. They all say Vista cannot find the appropriate drivers.

From there I am stuck. Could anyone lend some advice?

I downloaded this driver zip, unzipped it, and then told vista to look in the folder for the driver file
http://ma3-origin.extranet.sonyericsson.com/drivers/

I will download the update service now.
