I'm quite a noob atm, may someone explain in detail how ELF's work?

What do they do?

Which CID phones and which type of phones can they be installed on?

Can it change the icons in the corner of the screen (e.g:: Battery, Bluetooth).

HOW CAN I GET THEM?

Any specified tutorials for things like changing the icons and desktop gadgets?

ELF are like .exe files for on a phone. They need a patch (phone dependent patch) to be enabled. There is a huge and great tutorial on installing ELF's on phones (CID53 and DB3150 not supported).

Change the battery and bluetooth icons with a graphics patch or sysgfx patch. Use the IMGTOOLDB2020 to create those patches.

Use the deskbar, desktop or standby dock elfs to create personal desktop icons like shortcuts to bluetooth or a java application.

You found the tut ^^ good you can get back to CID52 by using the ultimate unlocker tool. It's not free, sadly. It costs about €20 to downgrade, then you can patch, flash and mod as much as you like as long as you like. But don't use SEUS again because it'll upgrade your phone to CID53 again

When will this become free?

No one knows. Although you can already use phoneXS 4.1 beta on Linux.

`This will probably never become free. DB3150 has major priority at the moment. There IS a way to patch your phone, but it's paid! Get over it. DB3150 users have NO option at all to patch so they have priority.
