Am new to this and want to unlock my K800i. I took it to a shop but they say they cant unlock it. Tried an online firm but they are so long winded and taking their time - waiting for me to verify my paypal account !!!

I got XS++ but that fell by the wayside because my phone has CID53

SETools aint compatible either

Any ideas

CID 53 unlock is not free way, yet.

Ta, yup I know that unlocking isnt free - generally - I believe though that up to CID52 you cuold patch unlock the phone. Well I have asked my provider for the unlock code which will take 7 - 14 days for them to send to me. In the meantime I will leave it unlocked and branded.

Now to find firmware for my old k750i to use until the unlock code comes form my k800i heheh
