I wish for a way , whichever modding method, that can also somehow put a 'blacklist' on particular image and video filetypes that I don't want showing up in the Media Menu. Also not for the MM to scan subfolder's for images and video also.. that would be cool in the near future

Yeah thats what I've wanted for a long time. There isn't a way though with the fs that I've found to work, it will be a patch I think to sort those out.

Cos with the amount of wallpapers I have it's kinda annoying with them all there in the media menu.
I dont even use the media menu :-/. Its slow IMHO.

You can also add MobileTV to the media menu like this
I couldn't do anything with it though, nothing to click, maybe if your operator supports it and your phone is set up for the MobileTV feature you may have better luck

i really cant see what i done wrong i deleted the file from my phone and replaced with this one shutdown a2uploader disconnected my phone started her up and just the same i have used a file like this before to de-brand my c902 and that worked
Deleted the file on your phone? There shouldn't be a customize_upgrade.xml already there...

haha i think i no what i have done wrong feel so silly lol i was going to post it here while selecting i realised it was a customize.xml not a customize_upgrade.xml ill try it now thanks very much for your help

I found another easy solution: Place everything you want to hide on Music\Ringtones. Then Media Center won't read it
It's nicer because you can do it from MobyExplorer and you can hide everything at the moment, like a Picture recently taken

the only problem is that you can't move images and videos to music folder using the cellphone, but still it's very good.
Search for "MobyExplorer" you can put images there with that
true, now it's ultra-protected!
