so i dont know wtf is goin on but my PC cant seem to accept the USB flash driver
i installed it and reinstalled it so many times but same problem

any software i try to use when i try to connect my phone in the flash mode it will freeze the PC and phone goes to mass storage
the driver that possibly gives all this trouble is SEMCBOOT downloader cuz its the one that pops up when pc is frozen
peviously i deleted all that is related to sony ericsson including drivers software and registry entries
ran 2 registry cleaners
2 antispyware programs and did everything i could to clean up the system
as soon as i plug in the phone it goes back to this stupid error
and i cant seem to find the source of it.

forgot to say that all the software that i have on this computer that is busted works on my laptop downstairs with no issues whatsoever since first install.

I'm having the extact same problem all was working fine until the next day after the windows updates have been installed, did you install a the windows updates??? , i think the problem lies with the windows media security updates.

make sure your phone has a full battery, then try to use seus to re-install them , i havn't fixed mine yet i just got really angry with it and gave up.

well last time i belive i wiped out all i could find that is related to sony
i had no updates i dont have an antivirus either just firewall
i might have installed too many drivers cuz i ot pissed off and started installing all the drivers i had for this :censored:er
but regardless of the software i use it freezes when i press 5 and connect the phone

nobody can help me?

i mean is there anythign besides sony that can be causing it?

i tried everything i know

what is the programm i can use to have a log file saved so i can see what is going on in my OS when it crashes?

What service pack are you running?

XP pro SP3 on my PC
and my dad has XP home also with SP3 and it works 100% on that machine but not on mine and ran out of ideas of what to check for

i mean i can connect the phone as a storage device i can use it with MyPhoneExplorer no problem

but as soon as i try to connect it in flash mode it crashes

with SEUS and any other tool that i have to press 5 and plug te phone in
it shows the lil USB icon in the task bar and stalls the system.

Sounds like XP pro sp3 is throwing a wobbler. Ive read posts that have problems with SP3 but Im not sure if they are running home or pro

i'm using xp home edtion sp3 aswell, i tryed unistalling the windows updates but that didn't work.
