I recently switched my phone from w550i to w800i
My firmware is somewhat R1BA and I flash it to R1BD001
W800_R1BD001_MAIN_EU_1_CA_RED36
W800_R1BD001_FS_EMEA_1_RED36
Before reflashing, I can mute shutter sound and focus sound in silent mode but after flashing the newer firmware, shuter sound and focus sound is still there. Is there a bypass or workaround other than deleting the sound file from the phone itself?

weird..i am using the same main as you but i don't have this problem.

i deleted the camera shutter from the phone(i hate it ) but the one from video is still there(Dunno how to delete it :D)

i activated silent mode and recorded a video and no shutter sound..
i deactivated it and the shutter sound is back

hw abt this

if(silent on&& camera book)

move shutter sound file to somewhere else or delete file
}
else
{
restore original file
}

go to download section->driver->cam driver, look arnd, i remember there is one silence thing

Theres something about the Cust pack editing but hows that? Coz its requiring me to do a master reset
