I was thinking, it would be nice if someone out there would make a program that could write you a layout.xml file.
It could have quite a simple GUI, but be able to show you an example of what your screen would look like, and where certain co-ordinates are.

What do people think?

I know some people find editting the layout.xml easy, but others (like me) dont.

An option which would allow you to select what phone it would be for would also be useful, as im sure different models have different layout.xml files.

wasnt there a web based app that does that somewhere around here? i know i saw it before...

would be nice to have a program tho don't you think? nice and easy to edit your layouts with a screen shot of what it could look like i think if someone can make it then it would be a very good and use full program for him me and alot of other peopl and nice idea bud

Stonos made a php script that shows you how your layout.xml looks like. Link should be in his signature (I don't know if it's still there because I disabled signatures because of all the strange people who can't read the signature rules )
