Full Version: Sound Recorder Patch?

I just got the W580i phone.. from a LG CU500. There is one downfall to this phone that I thought would be equal to my LG CU500 considering how "music" friendly this phone is. The sound recorder. It sounds like crap. I try to record my voice and i have tried to speak into every square cm of the phone and I can't get a good clear voice coming through.. I hear a lot of room noise and just barely moving the phone is so loud.

Is there some kind of patch that helps this phone's voice recording feature? So much other noise comes through more than your voice speaking directly into the phone. I have an acoustic patch already.

sorry. i posted in the wrong thread. my mistake.

The sound quality is the limitation of the mic itself. Also the mic may be more sensitive than the lg. Being a music phone doesn't necessarily mean having a good mic or recording, note "music".

Yup

BTW, the mic is located at the small hole at the bottom of your phone.

Yeah I understand.

BTW... Off topic from my first post.. but is there a way with ATT (or this Phone) so that if my phone is off or offline, and someone calls, it will tell me that I have a missed call? Right now... I would only know if someone called only if they left a voicemail.

I'm not sure with your provider, but my provider here in Singapore sends a message with the number of the caller when your phone cannot be reached/turned off.

It however does not give the time.
