I'm confused...
Can you put on foreign acoustic drivers on a Cingular branded w810i?

If so, then what I'm doing is just following the first step, which is have the phone turned off, hold down the C button (thats below the right-side orange button right?) and then plug in the cable. However, it doesn't work? It just doesn't detect the phone and disconnects.

Why?

Something in my mind tells me that I had to take out my battery somewhere prior to this, but I don't really remember...

well take out ur battery for abt 10 seconds and then u need a usb flash drive...search the forum for this....... OR dload the attachment file....... but i think u hav to debrand ur phone first....

Nope you dont have to debrand just to change the accoustics

Ive done this on a a branded k750

Eh whatever it's not like I'll ever replace my DAP with the w810i.
