Very very good site.

Thank you very much!
To think that all, but I mean
ALL the dealers or salles persons told me (and everybody I know) to charge their new phones (with Li-ion batteries) for 10 hours the first 4 charges...
It seemed
verry odd to me that doing so ("formating the battery") had
absolutely no effect on any of the 5 phones my family has up to date. Also, it was even stranger that
not even the phone manuals or guides said anything about this. I mean, if I was producing phones, I had the best interest that my customers would have a good experience with their batteries. And still, as I said, no mobile phone manufacter sais to charge for 10 hours...
In stead, exactly as the quoted site suggests to do after a longer period of storage (such as staying on the shelf, waiting for a buyer

), the user guides say something like this in the first chapter, usualy titled
Assembling, or
Basic instructions:
"Step 1: Take off the back cover
Step 2: Take off the battery
Step 3: Insert SIM card
Step 4: Put back battery and cover.
Step 5: Plug in the charger and wait for the battery indicator to be full Step 6: Unplug the charger
Step 7: Power up your phone."
Charging my Sendo M550, SE
K700, Nokia 1600, SE
W810, LG KP100 for 10 hours the first 4 charges didn't make any difference in battery performance...
All I need now is to buy a multimeter to check the voltage of my old rechargable phone batteries which I intend to store.. nobody knows when I'd might need them
