No they will hav different number of blocks.

It doesnt matter if the fs and main are different.
i flashed mine with fs r1bc002 and main r1bd001 and i dont have any problems.
Well i do, sometimes when i wanna turn on my phone the white screen appears after the welcome screen and it turns on after a few secs, but its not because of the firmware, its just cause of some elf.

its not a problem on db2010 phones but on db2020 u hav to use same main and fs coz; on newer fws' menu etc has sum changes so language files can not be written..

Cid49 and i've done it also on a CID36 no diffrence

yup! i use to have r1bc002 but i flashed my main to r1bd001 and now i got sleepmode and coverart elf working smoothly.

in this case will patches work for r1bd001 or r1bc002?

use patches for r1bd001

if the main is R1BD001 you have to flash patches for R1BD001.
