just a small guide for possibly using the camera led lights for another purpose. sorry for horrible quality in photos but u guys get the point.

1. As usual start by taking the back cover, battery and sim card.

2. Unscrew both screws from back faceplate using the standard screwdriver =P save screws in safe place.

3. Then use a blunt knife/blunt object (peferably i like the guitar pick haha) and remove back cover.
Don't break it.

4. Then apply desired color of a cut out piece of thin paper, plastic wrap, or candy wrapping. ( i used paper ) attach with tape.
i found it to be safe and easy to remove when no longer needed or wanted.

5. Apply back cover back on and screw back on the screws.

6. From the outside its noticable but it can be used for another purpose.

7. See what i mean? possibly just for looks but it'll save some money if u wanna use it for a led light. (maybe for a club? haha raves....)

I've tried blue and orange. both work well but any color is your preference. just makes sure paper isnt too thick, dont break the back cover, and dont loose the screws. Plus the cost is vurtually free.

Have fun

I find that wrappers or things like tissue paper dont work too well. construction paper can get a little thick, so i'd suggest a thin color paper.

I've edited the title so that LED is in capitals.

those work too. haha. i just used paper and tape.

lol. from my pics the tape job looks horrible. glad to see that people have tried my mod and are experimenting with it. Its simple and doable at the same time. i'd like to see what others could do to even mod this further?

im pretty sure colored LEDs are not good for when you actually need the flash for taking pics with the cell-cam.. does anyone have sample pics with colored LED flash?
Hector
The White Balance tries to correct the ColourLED's problem, but I use that Colour led more for Fun than for Fotography wink.gif

Put red color. enable the SOS lamp. Useful when car broke down at night for safety.
