When I'm flashing K800 to K810
I need to use custpack of the K800 or the K810?

Cause, I can find the custpack I have now in my K800 but I can't find it for K810.

By the way, that's what I have right now:
K800i_CDA102511_132_S_ASIA_LEVAN

What would I need for the flashing? same?

Ok, great, just let me ensure I got you.
I can use the K800 custpack, on the K810 Firmware?
KrX
Yes. If you want to be safe just edit customize.xml and change K800i to K810i.

all a custom pack is is a few files eg java certs that the phone needs to configure itself on 1st startup. If you get the GENERIC custom packs for 2 different models and compare them youll find that theyll likely be very similar if not identical. The .xml files may contain diff info such as homepages etc.

Note that the branded custom packs are different tho, and contain info on how the SP wanted their firmware vandaliz....i mean customized.... happy.gif

VANDALIZED.

Yea, but docmagoo2, would just uploading the customize.xml be sufficient? A few guys seemed to manage to get it to work with just customize.xml. hmm...
docmagoo2
not sure.... never tried it myself....may do so when I go home this PM. have you tried?

ps "vandaliz...." was meant to be me half saying that before catching myself and saying customized. We wouldnt want to libel out fabulous SP's now would we? tongue.gif
KrX
Nope I haven't tried lol.gif

Haven't had the time to backup everything before I reflash again. Phone starting to function slowly now... sad.gif

I was just completing your word for you. tongue.gif
