Full Version: SIM Lock
well i check my k530i with the button >*<<*<* and then i checked at SIM Lock section, all of them has a open padlock icon...I'm just wanna make sure, if i crossflash to w660, is it possible? or can it being locked like i did before? Before, i did not checked that info on my phone[>*<<*<*] and i try crossflashed it and when i on the phone, it says INSERT CORRECT SIM CARD. The result, i have to brought it to the shop and they says that some software missing, and i don't know what they mean with software. I need to know that if it being crossflash again, can it possibly being lock again? My phone is using HONG_KONG RB88001 NC right now for the main and FS, and APAC for the custpack. It's CID53. .

If the phone was patch unlocked, you will lose the unlock after updating/flashing.
If it was a permanent unlocking then no issues.
CID 53 has no way of free unlocking , once it gets locked.

Thanks for the info dude...i thougt the GEN is generic hehehehehe. That's why i wonder what is the NC in the firmware
