Hello, I'm new to this forum so I hope this thread is in the right part.
I have an SE-K810i and earlier today I changed the menu in the phone using FARManager. I used this menu icons pack: http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?act=att...st&id=11951 (found in the thread "K800 K790 Menu Icons"). Well, I didn't just replace menu.ml and added the images, I also replaced layout.xml with the file in the menu icons pack. When I started my phone, the "Select / Back" keys where in the top of the screen, and under them it was black. So I changed the layout.xml to this one: http://www.4shared.com/file/26005450/3daf1...ayout_k800.html called "Layout for K800i Orginal". Now, everything is almost right, just that the "Select / Back" keys are in the middle of the screen. So my questions are: Is it the layout.xml file that determines where the "Select / Back" menu shows? If so, where can I find the right layout.xml file, or can I modify the k800 file in any way?

In your case, yes it is the layout.xml

Try continue searching for the original layout. Get your k810 original layout and upload.

Next time, remember to backup a copy of the original before replacing anything!

As I understood it, I could only write and read from the phone, not copy files from the phone (CID53). But yeah, it was stupid of me Does anyone have the original k810i layout.xml? I would appreciate it very much if you could upload it here

Edit: I ran a SE Update and everything is back to normal

Edit2: Does anyone actually have the k810i layout.xml? I can't copy mine from the phone to the computer and I've looked everywhere, haven't found anything =/
