i wonder if i may do a backup after flashing, as i intend to mod my 710i step by step, just in case

or had it be done before flashing. shame on me (its my nature not making backups ), lost allready a lot of intel :-)

(ps : it had troub with xs++, was allways freezing in middle of flashing, how does it come.
i restarted pc, pull out bat from phone, waited long enough but time after time xs freezed) and so i used setool

Backup GDFS is better before flashing.
But if your phone works good, it should be not a problem with GDFS after flash.
After GDFS restore - you must reflash the phone with same firmware it was in phone when GDFS back-up was maded (because GDFS use the first mega from .main).

Yap! Before Flashing and anything else like patching!

well he's working properly now and i made a backup , (havent need it so for :-)

but indeed better doing before starting modding

keep it very safe though or u may lose it put it on a pc mem card if u have one spare
