Just to get this out of the way, yes i do realise i could flash my phone to W580i for the walkman2.0 player, HOWEVER..
Anyway i think i've read a few places here and there(awhile ago i might add) that new stock of S500i had the walkman2 player on it already, removing the need to flash to w580i for the walkman player..any truth to this?
So if it was true, theoretically i could just find the firmware or update it to get walkman on my current(and older) S500i?
If anyone could confirm this it would be great, i would flash it to w580 but i don't want the useless links to applications and stuff in my menu that wouldnt work(like fitness, radio etc) cluttering it up and whatever - i'm a minimalist =p

The new stock s500i only has better buttons, so they won't crack as easily, but NO walkman 2! Walkman IS and WILL only be installed on W-series phones, s500i is lucky and can be flashed to w580i and gain walkman player that way.

Removing the Fitness icon and radio shortcut can be done with a s500i menu.ml The fitness folder in the file manager can be removed by patch. (patching is available for CID52 and lower, so DO NOT use Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) to upgrade your phones firmware
