I've seen ppl with updated cam drivers, mine's probably version 2.5, what do these cam driver really do? Do they take better pics or something? Should I update mine?

Camdrivers can regulate vividness, JPEG compression, brightness and probably some more settings. BRazukka has great modded camdrivers on his 4shared, they are the best for non AF phones

Yes, and video recording rate. Colour as well. (Some camdrivers have a cool "nightvision effect")

Try Raider's Supermode camera driver. It has lots of new useful features and settings without messing up the old ones.
