Hi everyone,

I am going to get a C902 soon (unbranded), and yes I am a noob (first time SE buyer).

I have heard something about if your phone is from a certain region (ie. EMEA or Asia), if you update the phone with SEUS it will automatically select the latest firmware from that region. Is that true? If that is the case, then I have to use software like JDFlasher in order to put the firmware files that I want into the phone right?

Also, if I update with SEUS, will it flash my firmware once before updating the firmware? Reason I asked is that many C902 users were suffering from machine hanging and from what I heard, it had something to do with the default language packs. Not sure if that's true or not but I suspect flashing the firmware may resolve the issue.

If anyone can tell me anything it would be great. Thanks.

No there aren't any free flashing softwares now.

And yes by updating it flashes it.

Thanks Lynott. Can you tell me about my first question about the regions? I am going to get the phone in Asia but I am going to be using it mostly in another continent. So I would like to use the firmware that coincides with the region. Having said that, I am not obsessed with it if it cannot be done because I assume all the firmwares are substantially the same?

Yes you are right about the way SEUS operates.
