Sorry for the topic but I must have your little help for changing MP skins on k750i with r1ca021. I know for that topic
http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtop...876&st=1440 "Modify the look of the Media Player, Skin your WALKMAN" and for the problem with the memory leak (and I had it too). I read the pages today to find the solving of the problem, but I don't have all the time to read
aalllll 73 pages
(you'll tell I'm lazy), thats why I need your help. You must know what was the problem, and
please tell me how to solve it. I just found one patch for my phone in this thread "total_replase_all_grafics_v2_k750_r1ca021" but I don't know is for that. Anyway please tell me how to fix this memory leak, I'll be happy for your answer. Thanks!

Cmon HELP me! OK, I understand no one answer me thats why, please just tell me - Is there a way to solve the memory leak (to use media player skin without crashing and appearing default). Answer with YES or NO.
Have you tried using less images using the sysgfx patch?

2008-08-28 07:33
OHH GOD, someone replied me! No! Where I can download this patch? I've never had patches on my phone! (k750i r1ca021)
Search the net for this replace_all_graphics patch, then patch it. Now, put some pngs for the images you want to be changed in your gfx folder, and you won't suffer anymore of dissappearing media player

2008-08-28 07:58
Is that the patch
http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtop...876&st=1100 (on the bottom of the page). And sorry if I bore you but i can't patching, please give me link with tutorial.
And i can't understand you right (

)
First: I must Patch the phone.
Second: Paste the images for the mp in tpa\system\multimedia\mp in .png (no .gif)
And last, is that safety for my phone. To overload the memry or something.
Sorry for my English.

"total_replase_all_grafics_v2_k750_r1ca021.vkp"(Is this the right patch wich it needs for fixing memory leak with the MP?) but I can't proceed because I don't know what to do

! How can I patch my phone with GSlide or is this the right program? Thanks and I don't want to wait all day to reply me someone!

How long I must wait? To know what is the normal time for waiting someone to reply me. One day , two, week?
Instead of asking all the time, just flash your K750 to W800 and follow any tutorial on the net, there's hundreds of them

Can't you just do it like everyone else does? A friend of mine (Devnull) made some skins on his K750 and it worked perfectly and I quote:
QUOTE
How to change the skin of the MediaPlayer
You need some images (obiviously).
Here's a list of names (and resolution) for K750:
background.gif (176x57)
list_background.gif (176x96)
low_back.gif (176x24)
video_background.gif (176x30)
It's the same images for W800, except you substitute the background.gif with
fullscreen_back.gif (176x153).
In addition you can also change the player icons:
fastforward.gif (20x15)
mode_loop.gif (20x14)
mode_random.gif (20x14)
mode_repeat.gif (20x14)
pause.gif (20x15)
play.gif (20x15)
rewind.gif (20x15)
stop.gif (20x15)
The files should be put in the
FS/tpa/system/multimedia/mp folder of the phone using
FAR/SEFP.
(Don't bother asking Dev at Lasyk as he left that forum years ago)Edit:
I made a skin to go with my PlainOrange theme (which I prefer to use on my phone). So anyone wanting to skin the MP can use it as a template (it doesn't contain the mode icons, though).
I made a sort of preview image too:

You can find the Plain Orange theme at his deviantart gallery
here or you can use his other theme
Star Theme Pack Just read through this carefully and I am sure it will work. When you get such a phone you can't expect miracle programs and patches.
I hope this works once and for all
PS. As our members have told you, it takes less than a minute to google and it took me a minute to write this up with diverse links. We definitely have this on se-nse too but I preferred to give you the view of a Sony Ericsson Pro themer than all the techy Firmware posts which look intimidating. You can't go wrong with Dev's step by step. So get customizing!

Thank you very much kjherstin, but I already tried another skins (like these). My problem is not in the skins (I've uploaded skins in tpa/system/multimedia/mp with XS++ FSX and before) I think it's in the memory leak. When I open the player 4-5 times it changes to default and the telephone crashes (images, app icons disappearing), thats why I need "replace all graphics" patch but I've never uploaded patches on my phone and I don't know how to made it (In the tutorial is written how to flash it and then patch it but I don't know is the same way without flashing). Sorry if I couldn't understand you right but I learn English for 2 years and I'm not so good at it. If this site was on my language, I wouldn't ask so much. Sometimes I couldn't understand something and it's hard for me. And I use and dictationary when I don't know some words.

Maybe I have many mistakes and on this post.

use the sysgfx patch then..use farmanager to patch ur phone ..
comic_fan_pz
2008-08-29 11:56
OK, I search and found this
http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=12519 and this
http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=29591 for sysgfx patch and I couldn't understand, is that patch must be uploaded somehow in the phone or it automaticaly upload when install flash drivers and connect XS++

. I think my phone have all needs for patching: K750i, R1CAO21, EROM Colour: Red, CID 49, Platform: DB2010. And chris_b0ss can you explain me more for big n00bie how to use FAR Manager (with SEFP, I think) for patching. Anddd... last I'm not sure that is "total_replase_all_grafics_v2_k750_r1ca021.vkp" the patch for fixing MP skin memory leak, is the right?
chris_b0ss
2008-08-29 13:18
oh..ur phone is cid 49 ? then use setool 2 lite..download it,at phone type select k750i(if u didn't flashed it to w800) at misc file u must select the patch then press write script..
after u use the patch u must delete the skin u uploaded and use a gfx pack ..
i suggest to flash your phone to w800i..it's awesome...and if u do this u will find a lot of tuts about patching and customizing..

OK, but how to connect my phone with this program, is it like XS++ or FAR and how to use gfx packs?

Yes its exactly like XS++
comic_fan_pz

But there is no connect button in the program, or just turn it off, hold c and plug it in?!
comic_fan_pz
2008-08-31 10:02
Now I know! Select in Phone Type "K750/D750" then "Identify" button, plug the cable to the phone, in "MISC files" I must select the patch, press "Write SCRIPT", wait when finish and them (I'm not so sure) I must press the "STOP" button and unplug the phone. Is that the right way?
You don't need to press the stop button. SETool will stop automatically if the patch process is complete
comic_fan_pz
2008-08-31 10:44
OK, I'll just unplug the phone tnx!
comic_fan_pz
2008-08-31 10:50
But how long is normaly wait for patch process, because I wait from 2-3min?
steadyontherem8
2008-08-31 11:23
Why don't you try FAR, it's quicker.
comic_fan_pz
2008-08-31 12:03
Because chris_b0ss told to use SETool2Lite, because I have CID 49. And for the patching, i abort the process.
I made everything and when I press Write SCRIPT it starts normaly but I wait more than 12min and nothing (Here you are one screenshot
http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?qui...co&thumb=5). When I stop the patching and turn on my phone it works, but now I don't know what to do, maybe I'll try again.

Thats cos its waiting for the cable to be plugged in (which it p[robably was: but setool2lite wont find it like XS++ as it only can handle one command at a time for your phone: eg identfy, take out cable, then write script and reinsert cable holding c etc). Dont click on identfy and leave the cable plugged in: just go ahead and click on write script making sure that everything is for your phone first

Grab some png's for Walkman skins from the net, and put them in your gfx folder. reboot your phone, et voila!

Sorry but I don't have gfx folder, I think you mean sysgfx, because I hear for that folder which you must make in memory stick card, but where exactlly - I don't know. Just in the card where is DCIM, MP3 ... or in media files/ other?! Can you explain me how to make it or where. (After creating the folder I must restart the phone, isn't it?)
Post the patch up

http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=3876&st=800 (where is moedjs's post - K750_from_W960_MP_skin.rar)
i'm not too good at Russian, but it seems that you have to create voth an ini file, and a gfx folder. Open the patch with notepad, and try to read what's there at the top ( in other words, those are the instructions

)
