he speaks ghetto english...

He wants to change the animation of selected icons and the swap animation when changing tabs in the file manager and settings menu wink.gif

And he wants to change the layout of the menu, like how they create the vista menus and circular ones, I suppose.

Well, the file "menu.ml" holds all the codes for the menu items, including its layout and icon file locations.

You can go check it out.

Hmm...I think he mean effects between moves, f.e. in File Manger....or animated backgrounds and highlights in menu.

Tan9890- If U wanna put da animated back in ya menu, just made somekinda of gif files, and use dem as icons, using MenuEdit. Joł tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

Hi...

First of all, i know about the duplicate topics rules, but my older topic was really sad!

Ok, so I own a w700i. I wanted to know which file controls the transition effects in the phone's menu, and other places. By transition, i mean the sliding effect when we select icons from the grid style menu and the way the selected icon keeps bouncing.

I wanted to change the original menu itself,i.e. the position of the icons via co-ordinate manipulation. so that i can create a whole new menu.. Also, am i referring to SVG menus? i've heard about them but dont know how they work..

Is our dear old menu a SVG menu?

Plz tell me, how can i control the animation?

Eg: changing the grid style of the menu to something in a circle... something like that.

Te main intention of this topic is that, w700i dosent support flash menus. I know we can use the gifs in full screen mode, but there is no transition effect, i mean the look very 'choppy' while selecting.. get it?

I ant to get that smooth transition effect in between the icon selection.. jus like in flash menus.. like one icon fades and other comes in.. something like that.

Plz help me out guys.. I'm really interested in doing that but couldnt find anything related to this anywhere..

Thanks... smile.gif

well you would have to use gifs but some dont work very well
the reason for this is that one element id in the main menu can only have one icon, which is usually in .png format
