Hi guys, I havent posted here in a while but I'm afraid I have some unpleasant news ><

Whilst updating my Hong Kong standard W960i, the SEUS software crashed at 94%, completely and utterly bricking my phone. I don't know what to do. When I try run the software again, it says it can't identify the phone. When I try using XS++, the same problem
CODE
23:05:48| TURN OFF PHONE!
23:05:48| You have 30 seconds...
23:05:48|
23:06:18| Error: Cannot open phone communication port
23:06:20| Disconnected... Unplug the phone

Please help, there must be a way other than taking it to a repair centre, I'm totally desperate here guys :-(..

Best would be to use a online flasher , that should sort it out.

Is using one of these online services going to offer any more help? I mean if local software cant even identify the device, what are the chancces of the exact same thing *not* happening with a similar online service?

Unless ofcourse there's a way to do it without initialising the service software, in which case I'm sumbfounded as to why there isnt a downloadable software service that would do let, ney a Sony Ericsson repair tool to do the same?

Can you try to read info?
Change port , reinstall the drivers hold the @ key while holding that connect the cable to the phone.
Paste the log here.

It's all sorted. Took it to a store in China town who repaired it for me smile.gif. Aparently a number of things went wrong, and it was rather difficult to recover - but it's all good now!

Thank god I made a backup before trying to update XD!

Anyway, thanks for your help guys!
