Just reflash what you had at the start by getting your branded firmware.

Look at the firmware version your phone had before you flashed it to genric (ie read through your XS++ logs or setool2lite logs, the program you used to read your GDFS)
Find it, download it, and flash it to your phone. The procedure is exactly the same as flashing yur phone to genric firmware, except youre using the branded firmware

If its not genric yet, then just connect the phone to either XS++ or click on identfy in setool2lite, then it will give you the firmware version its currently running and you should be able to find it

Thats the acoustics smile.gif and you dont have to debrand your phone to use them

Same with the camera driver(s)

Its mainly if you want to add patches to your phone or flash themes (network operators generally lock them), or if youre bored of the network branding

Just to clarify, GDFS does not contain any of your original files, it contains some other things which can help to recover your phone in the event that your phone dies real badly.

Each GDFS has its own things and is unique to each phone, thus, you cannot use another person's GDFS, it will kill your phone.

Ok, i think i get it now, GDFS just contains some variables, and if you want to recover you have to install the firmware yourself?

Depends on the degree of your damage, sometimes you do not even need to write GDFS, just a simple reflash will do.
