I cant seem to find a full explanation of what it is. When i flashed my phone with a MAIN and FS (xs++ 3.1) , I didnt use a cust pack??

..well i did a get a configuration error, but I fixed that by editing the customize.xml.

And since then I have added walkman 2.0 skins, themes, and flash menus on my W610i and the phone has been working fine.

1) So what is a cust pack, and do i still need one?

2) Also can i ask, How can i Mix and match flash menus and normal themes, Because I want to use my phones default walkman theme background and gui, WITH this other flash menu that I have, How can i do this???

ok this is easy......
a custpack is a customized (languages and other features such as flash menus ect....) pack of files to put in place of the normal built-in "custpack" on ur phone when flashing....
they make it so you don't get a config error. for you its not necessary, unless you dont have flash menus enabled.....


anyway...

if i understand you correctly, you want to have a flash menu enabled whilst using a non-flash theme....
use Se-Theme tools......
Se-Theme Tools
and follow the instructions on the linked page.....

I am stating the facts here you know. There are a handful of people that help out loads of problems especially nknwn666 and katrokndeso in recent times. But I think I am one of these people. Sorry if I sounded boastful.

Cust pack contains the hook files and customize.xml needed to activate the phone after you flash a new filesystem to it. You'll get a configuration error if you do not upload a cust pack.
