Yes, DCU60 is the perfect one.. Usually came with your phone purchasing...
Now try XS++ read the log and make sure you're not CID53 or db3150 ... They aren't supported with XS++ yet... Seek XS++ transcripted in this link... http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtop...mp;#entry350492

But if you on CID53 db3150 you should pay for it... Because nowdays no free tool fully support it... (AFAIK, JDflasher could on CID53 but not db3150)

I'm not master

EDIT: After check CID, if you're not on CID53 now you could find the MAIN and FS also with the CUST firmware... Flash your phone with all of them.. Look firmware stuffs on iprotebe, topsony, selife.ru, and check in forum's download corner

i dont have dcu 60 can i use a generic cable or should i get the original one form sony?please give me
a step by step guide because i am a total newbie..please
katrokndeso
What do you mean with "generic cable"??? Is there, the default cable come from phone?? Have you ever tested it for file transfer and succesed?? If yes.. That's it DCU 60!!

First you need to download the usb flash drivers, then XS++, you could search both of them using search facility in this forum... Just type "flash driver" and "xS++ download" or alternatively you could go to the download section in this forum..

After did them all, now reinsert your phone, then press "C" while you connect it to PC, then install the flash drivers by the windows hardware wizard... After installed succesfully, disconnect your phone, reinsert battery and give it a rest...

Now run XS++ and press "connect" now press and hold "C" button then connect your phone to PC again... Remember, you only have 30 seconds to do this on XS++.. If you late, XS++ won't recognize it...

Now check your log.. Could you post your log here please... smile.gif

I'm sorry for that sad.gif
But, I wonder what's the meaning of "generic cable"??

Otherwise,
@angie314

I'm sad.. Now you could borrow it one from your friend.. Couldn't you?? I hope your friend will give you favor...

And Don't use SEUS instead of upgrading CID to 53...

will somebody explain this to me?

u have to do what XS++ tells u to. when u press connect he will tell u :

07:19:29| TURN OFF PHONE!

07:19:29| Hold 'C' button on phone and connect phone NOW.

07:19:29| You have 30 seconds...

then first time u made it, and XS++ told u:

07:16:52| Disconnect phone from USB-port and wait for

07:16:52| further instructions.

07:16:52| You have 10 seconds.

then it sed:

07:17:02| Open the battery-cover and reinsert the battery.

07:17:02| Hold C Button on phone and connect phone again.

07:17:02| You have 30 seconds.

this last time u only needed to reinsert the battery and connect it again by holding C button pressed and still holding it till it connects the phone
katrokndeso
And make sure you've installed the appropriate USB flash drivers... unless XS++ won't be able to detect your phone...
