this is my first post although i've been a member for a couple weeks now, i've found alot of great info on the forum so i been busy reading,
but i've come across my first problem i did a "patch unlock" following 1 of the many guides floating around, and all went well, the fone now takes most sim cards but after a few minutes it says "inactive sim" or will say inactive sim straight away ??
it takes my vodafone sim card no problem without saying "inactive sim" but can't make or recieve calls & texts etc but i can check my credit, also the fone always shows a strong signal.
i have been told that it could be that i flashed the wrong FS but i used a generic europe FS designed for my fone only thing is, there are different FS generic europe, i used generic europe_1 but theres europe 1,2,3,4,5
i'd be very grateful for any help & advice my fone info is below
i have a K770i, DB2020, R8AA018, its a uk fone and it was locked to the 3 network
