I've been here (in the net) for some days, trying to understand some of the new concepts (to me) regarding the sony ericsson mobile world.
My quest started the day i bought my first SE (w880i) and i saw that this cell doesn't come with a PW protection when it comes out of the screensaver, I thought for me: i wanted to have a feature like that on my SE and if it doesn't come in it, there is probably, some way to put it on...
Ok, i'm going to be more quick, because of that i understood the true power of modding and flashing menus and stuff... but now a have a dilemma, in the past i did a SEUS upgrade and now i know that have been the cause for my cid turned 53.
So, if anyone can help or clarify me, i would like to know what can i do with an SE with these features:
-have flash menus; (and how can i install them in)
-turn my SE better regarding the sound e cam (and how can i install them in)
-and the firmware...(and how can i install them in)
I've read some posts (i've been doing some search)(lots), but there are few of w880i, and when they are, those posts start tlaking of other models and that's a mess.

Flash menus are for display: http://flash-lite-tutorial.blogspot.com/20...lite-menus.html

Camera drivers are located in ifs\settings\camera and sound in ifs\settings\acoustic. Use jdflasher to access the fs: http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=17857 and http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=27775

Use jdflasher for installation. You have to find CID53 firmware first.

Did you download the correct cid53 plugins?

i have more but their are for db2010, db2012... other cids 52, 51, 49, but i think that isn't for my case.
i don't know if they are the correct, that's why i'm asking.

is that difficult to put some flash menus in my SE????
