You can't apply patches at all to CID53.

what are the cid in the phones like whats the different between cid 52 and cid 53 besides u cant flash 53. anyone know??? And why is Cid53 so hard to get in what makes it so hard to break in thanks for the responses

u can flash cid53,but u cant patch and unlock, that cid is the security of the phone, cid53 is the newest one,so u have to wait till it will be able to be more modable

Ok i know that the phone can be flashed with cid 53 my phone has been flashed for some time know but why im asking these questions is because i want to know how the cid's work and where they are located in the phone. is it in the main, custom pack, or what? theres always away around things. so does anyone know where the cid is located in what file before u flash the phone it would be helpfull thanks
