Hey all, I recently got caught in a storm, which got my phone soaked. I removed the battery as quickly as I noticed what happened, and dried it out over a few days in a bag of rice. Now, when I put the battery in, it quickly vibrates like it used to during bootup, but instead of it booting, a green LED comes on on the left of the phone and a dimly lit red LED is on the right. I can plug the USB cable in, and it shows up as an SEMC USB Flash device. I'm not sure if the firmware corrupted or what, and I can't find anything about such a situation in the forum. I've wanted to debrand my phone anyways....so I'm wanting to try it. Nothing to lose. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

probably water damage and I daresay that its dead. you could try flashing it. unsure what CID a W580 is tho so you may have to pay....

I've got two of these phones (purchased on the same day) , is there any way I can pull whatever information I need from the operational phone?

Update: Flushed the main PCB with wd40, popped it together, booted it up.
Green LED stays on on the c key, but oh well. Screen is a bit bluish too, due to damage, I'm guessing. I suppose the LED is just stuck on. I'll probably remove it from the circuit so it doesn't run the battery down.
