After applying a few basic mods to my phone (K800i CID52), I am now wanting to apply new Battery and Signal icons, but I'm not quite sure how exactly I'd go about doing it.

I think I have apply them in a .vkp patch in SE Tools Lite, but most people are talking about using a Quick Access patch, which I never applied to my phone before applying a sim-unlock patch.

So my questions are:
Do I need to apply a Quick Access patch before installing the icons?

Also, If I do need to apply a quick access patch, does it mean I will have to reflash main and reapply the sim-unlock patch?

And finally, do the sysgfx patches already have the icons in them, or do I need to upload the icons somewhere else?

2. Yes you have to flash the main with the quick access patch in the miscellaneous files slot. Then you can unlock it after.

3. K800 doesn't have sysgfx, this quick access patch is for enabling patching. After applying quick access, you can apply any patch by putting the vkp file in miscellaneous files and pressing write script.
