Hi, im new to flashing. i dont know much about flashing.
when i switch on my phone the white screen flashes without showing anything else.
i had used xs++ to get the info of my phone. it is goven below:

can anyone tell me how to solve the problem....
plz provide a step by step procedure of doing it... i dont know much abt flashing.....

get RED52 firmware for your W830. Main and FS (R1KG001 firmware) and depends on which FS you choose, pick a custpack (CDA) matching the FS.

i had flashed with main and fs also added the custpack but still i get the flashing white display

you really want to know what's going on? your GDFS is screwed. philzfog had a tutorial to fix this. let me see if i can find it

actually it all happened when acidentally i broked my display....
do u thing is there any hardware problem.....
or do u hav anyother solution.......

do i hav to do full flashing before gdfs restore or after that.....
where can i get a working gdfs of region apac....
i had tried with american... its not working....

you can't use someone else's GDFS. you damaged the hardware? if so, then flashing won't help. it'll be a hardware problem than a firmware one.

If the screen flashes white just reflash i had the same on my W850i had to reflash about 3times before it worked.

Looks like you flashed with the wrong files ;-)

it wont work as it is showing as a k700 com fault with se phones

plus he did say he damaged his display... so i guess he means his LCD or something.
