I recently found out i couldnt unlock my phone for free because it is using CID50 which is fair enough because i have been with orange for an eternity and all is well, But i would like to know if and how it is possible to do some debranding and customising as it looks like i will be keeping this phone for alot longer.

Heres the juicy stuff.

All you need to do is flash generic firmware and use the inbuilt Customize File System for custom packs.

I checked through the download and a few files on some other sites but i dont fully understand what the differences are with the firmwares lol.gif thee are way too many different guides around basicaly and i have been reading one or two and im more confused than when i started.

Any chance you could point me in the right direction to the latest firmware /cust pack that would be fine with my phone, like i said all i want to do is turn the phone back in to its original state of being a sony ericsson w810i with no branding on the phone, i dont care for unlocking it.

I understand how to do it all now but i am missing something when it comes to picking the files tongue.gif
